  2. As I've been going through and re-editing past live streams of the First 2 Hours, I had in the back of my mind of setting up a database of the games I've reviewed. Having a place that would hold the information of each games, it's associated pictures and videos and including the reviews of the game. Knowing what I wanted to see for this new system I actually caught myself in going through some painful building of something that might not look great or even work out as I wanted, I knew about a plugin that does everything I was looking to have done. The Games DatabasePurchasing the plugin and getting it installed is quite easy as Invision Community makes the process user f…

  13. I recently got an idea for a new community, I decided to pick MyBB for this community but I think it's a bit outdated by 2025 terms. So I'm wanting to switch platforms but I'm not sure exactly which platform I want to switch to. If I had the money, I would pick Invision but I can't afford it. I also don't want to purchase another VPS account to host a NodeBB or Discourse instance. So I'd like to hear some feedback from people here on which platform I should switch to! I'm thinking about either vBulletin perhaps or Xenforo? vBulletin is cheaper and comes with a lot more features than Xenforo does out of the box. Plus I feel Xenforo as of late has been lacking with updates.…

  19. A cute update has come to the store within Moonbeam, avatar flairs, are a small bit of flair that you can use on top of your avatar picture. Very similar to what you can see within Discord, these avatar flairs come in three flavors currently and are free to claim. The future I can see in that these flairs can be purchasable for a low cost on each flair, even going as far as future collaborations. While the current flairs are rather simple, I can see the future potential for these as another item that people would be able to purchase which would help Moonbeam bring in some revenue that wouldn't be advertising. Of course, this source of revenue wouldn't be much compared to…

  24. When I recently did a YouTube search on just the single keyword “Bluesky” the results were completely filled with video after video of “Bluesky is dying” or “Bluesky death of being woke.” I understand that negative or even hate-filled clickbait will be gathering those sweet sweet clicks and watch-time but, is there a movement of Bluesky users going back to extwitter? I left extwitter way back in 2022 among those who saw the writing on the wall with Elon taking control of the platform. It was always becoming a cesspool long before he came on board and with him at the helm, it quickly dove into reaches of even worse filth. Hate speech being pushed through as normative, alon…
