My concentration is on 2-3 platforms where my audience is the strongest. If I have too much, it may bring down my efforts. However, I ensure that the platforms I choose are compatible with my content objectives.

I've always tend to focus on a few platforms than try to branch out and use different ones. Not only would I need to take the time to get familiar to how other platforms are set up, I would also need to find the time to work on my projects while also promoting on many different platforms. Currently, I believe I've promoted my projects on around 4 or 5 active communities right now. I've used Facebook in the past too and Twitter, but didn't get too far with Facebook so I've sort of given up on that platform. I don't like Twitter anymore, so I wouldn't use it again like I did in the past to promote one of my websites.

I've been trying to work on Facebook but, quickly getting to the point in which if you want any traction on your content, you need to spend money. Facebook is extremely saturated in AI slop and even if you do have any contacts within the platform, they're never going to see your posts.

I'm thinking of looking through all of the platforms I currently send content to and begin to pare down those places that are not being productive at all.

Instead of running towards recently launched or comparatively newer platform, I choose to stay with the older one. No matter what platform you join, your success depends on followers. Building followers is difficult, and when you join a new platform, you will have to start from zero.

I concentrate on the platforms where most of my audience is. I try to focus on a few instead of many, so I don’t get overwhelmed. This way, I can grow steadily. I also stay open to trying new platforms when the time feels right.
