  3. A cute update has come to the store within Moonbeam, avatar flairs, are a small bit of flair that you can use on top of your avatar picture. Very similar to what you can see within Discord, these avatar flairs come in three flavors currently and are free to claim. The future I can see in that these flairs can be purchasable for a low cost on each flair, even going as far as future collaborations. While the current flairs are rather simple, I can see the future potential for these as another item that people would be able to purchase which would help Moonbeam bring in some revenue that wouldn't be advertising. Of course, this source of revenue wouldn't be much compared to…

Well, frankly speaking, the platform itself is less important than having a genuine, engaged, and large following. Choose a platform based on your skills and interests. 5. When I recently did a YouTube search on just the single keyword “Bluesky” the results were completely filled with video after video of “Bluesky is dying” or “Bluesky death of being woke.” I understand that negative or even hate-filled clickbait will be gathering those sweet sweet clicks and watch-time but, is there a movement of Bluesky users going back to extwitter? I left extwitter way back in 2022 among those who saw the writing on the wall with Elon taking control of the platform. It was always becoming a cesspool long before he came on board and with him at the helm, it quickly dove into reaches of even worse filth. Hate speech being pushed through as normative, alon…

  16. Do you currently use any decentralized web platforms? Anything that is part of the fediverse falls under this category, ActivityPub connects a bunch of websites together which makes it easier to locate platforms that aren't made by big corporations such as Meta social media platforms. I believe that the internet is in a state where soon the bigger names are going to eventually fail and many people are going to find alternatives. I highly recommend looking into integrating your projects to the Fediverse if you can. I'm hoping more forum software will go down this route eventually.

  17. If you currently own a blog do you prefer to type things up in a word processor before you post it to your website? Or do you prefer to write your drafts on your website and then whenever it's ready to be posted you post it immediately? I just typically save drafts on my blog and just edit and add things to each article before I post it. I've tried using a word processor in the past but the formatting was always off. Though it might be better to do both just incase your website glitches out and you lose your drafts.

  25. Welcoming Party · Started by JoshB,

How do you do and welcome on in to our new home on the internet. I'm Josh and I've been a live streamer/content creator for close to 10 years now. From starting out my simple beginnings streaming on Twitch before exploring the alternatives of the day. I enjoy finding these new places that are either just starting out or, have been around for a bit. It's the excitement of seeing what these platforms are trying to accomplish in being different than the status quo. Where by simply trying to copy Twitch, isn't what creatives are looking for. They're looking for something that is similar but is offering a newer, fresh approach to the creative and viewer experience. One thing I…
