  1. Do you believe that one day Peertube can truly rival Youtube? I personally can't see it happening soon, which is a shame really. Youtube has really been going downhill more and more as the years go on ever since Google bought them. I think more and more people would benefit if they can install their own instance of Peertube and be in control of every aspect of their video audience. However since we live in a time where people tend to stick to what they know and don't really branch out, I don't think Peertube will be as popular as Youtube. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

  2. Hey everyone! 👋 So I was browsing around this morning and stumbled across something that made me pause and think. Invision Community (you know, the forum software) just posted that they're slowing down their development releases. 4. I recently got an idea for a new community, I decided to pick MyBB for this community but I think it's a bit outdated by 2025 terms. So I'm wanting to switch platforms but I'm not sure exactly which platform I want to switch to. If I had the money, I would pick Invision but I can't afford it. I also don't want to purchase another VPS account to host a NodeBB or Discourse instance. So I'd like to hear some feedback from people here on which platform I should switch to! I'm thinking about either vBulletin perhaps or Xenforo? vBulletin is cheaper and comes with a lot more features than Xenforo does out of the box. Plus I feel Xenforo as of late has been lacking with updates.…

You might not get immediate traffic, but unlike current topics that stops accumulating views after a while, evergreen content generates regular traffic.

  21. If you currently own a blog do you prefer to type things up in a word processor before you post it to your website? Or do you prefer to write your drafts on your website and then whenever it's ready to be posted you post it immediately? I just typically save drafts on my blog and just edit and add things to each article before I post it. I've tried using a word processor in the past but the formatting was always off. Though it might be better to do both just incase your website glitches out and you lose your drafts.
