Generative models like large language models (LLMs) and image generators (e.g., GPT-4, DALL-E 3) have made incredible strides in producing human-like text, stunning visuals, and even code, pushing the boundaries of automated content creation. For the past 8 months I've been running our front page with the open source software Ghost. It is a great system for blog posts, articles and even for newsletters. After 8 months I'm going through the metrics and seeing how well our reach is for the posted content. The news isn't all that great, over these many months our membership level is stagnant at the same level for over several months. In the beginning when the forums were being run under NodeBB, my idea was to integrate the blog posts comments to live within their posts in the forums. Unfortunately the plugin to get this taken care of wasn't working and had not been updated for the latest version of NodeBB. The f…

I haven’t explored travel vlogging but this is on my bucket list. Have you created travel content?

If you currently own a blog do you prefer to type things up in a word processor before you post it to your website? Or do you prefer to write your drafts on your website and then whenever it's ready to be posted you post it immediately? I just typically save drafts on my blog and just edit and add things to each article before I post it. I've tried using a word processor in the past but the formatting was always off. Though it might be better to do both just incase your website glitches out and you lose your drafts.
