Saw that Beam has started with the first part of their unified chat system. Interesting to see more of these smaller platforms trying to integrate 3rd party chat into their platform, it's almost like they know that a platform is just a tool for making content.

Personally, I think that it's a very good move because this makes more features available to the users and it improves their users experience. It's definitely a good move in the right direction. 

Would love to see more platforms integrate a multi-chat type of service or feature. Would help bring about platform cohesion but, I do see how it would lessen the brand feel if they did do this.
