It was great watching the live stream on Friday of the alpha release of Moonbeam. The cTO of Moonbeam, Anthony Joyce-Rivera showed off some of the behind the scenes items that I think would be a great fit for a lot of independent creators and their communities.

Items like revenue sharing with your mod staff, teams built within your Realm, and guests that come into your space. Along with that there is the Moonstones that give you quick monetary revenue from your members. Getting 100 Moonstones is the same as receiving $1.00, of course any fees and taxes are payed by the viewer as it gives you a more fair split instead of the creator having to take care of this. Unlike how things are on Twitch, these line items are not hidden within a black box and you receive whatever Twitch deems it to be so.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what is in store for the future of Moonbeam and eventually getting into the platform when they open it up to the general public in the near future.

I kick myself that I didn’t get in on the Kickstarter. I put it off and put it off until I missed out.

Shinzakura bought into it. I think he would have really really loved it. It’s sad he’ll never get to use it. I think he may have invited a bunch of folks to join his Realm, honestly.

I, too, am really looking forward to seeing it move on to the public. I’ll be there if I can.

Same here, missed out on getting in on it during the crowdsourcing option. The options that it has is very cool and offers a lot more than the likes of Twitch.
