Just finished my first two hours with Ageless and man, what a mixed experience. This puzzle platformer has one of the coolest mechanics I've seen in years (aging creatures forward/backward through life stages), but the execution requirements had me questioning my life choices.
The aging system is genuinely brilliant. Turn aggressive monsters into harmless babies, age creatures to activate pressure plates, use their different life stages strategically. Combined with gorgeous pixel art and a surprisingly deep story about finding purpose, it should be a slam dunk.
But here's the thing - I'm terrible at precision platformers. Spent an hour on puzzles where I knew the solution but couldn't execute the timing. For puzzle platformer fans, this is probably amazing. For casual players like me? Pure frustration.
Anyone else tried this? How did you handle the difficulty curve? Worth pushing through if you're not great at tight timing sequences?
