Hey everyone! Just wrapped up a pretty intense gaming session with 911 Operator and wanted to get some discussion going about this one. Been seeing it pop up in Steam sales but never pulled the trigger until recently.

Has anyone else played this? I'm genuinely curious about your experiences, especially if you've tackled the higher difficulty modes. Expert mode sounds absolutely brutal with no pause function and overtime penalties.

The resource management aspect really caught me off guard. Started thinking it would be a typical point-and-click sim, but the actual 911 call mechanics add this whole layer of human drama that most management games completely miss. When you're juggling a plane crash, multiple fires, and someone calling about their cat all at the same time, the pressure feels surprisingly real.

Quick question for anyone who's played - did you find the progression between cities well balanced? Going from that Hawaiian starting budget to mainland cities with way less funding felt like a pretty steep difficulty spike.

Also, can we talk about that menu music loop? Please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed how jarring the restart point is. Small complaint but it definitely stuck out during longer play sessions.

The DLC situation has me curious too. Worth grabbing the complete bundle or is the base game solid enough on its own? Seems like there's a decent amount of additional content available.

Overall pretty impressed with how they handled the subject matter. Could have easily gone the sensationalized route but kept things respectful while still being engaging.

Anyone else have thoughts on this one? Thinking about streaming some expert mode attempts but want to know if there's interest in watching that kind of chaos unfold.

What's your take on emergency services sims in general? This genre seems pretty underexplored compared to other management games.
